Continuing our support services within Gloucestershire
We are pleased to announce that, Gloucestershire County Council has renewed our partnership with them so that we can continue to offer the community mental health and wellbeing support contract.
We've been working with Gloucestershire County Council since 2014 to provide support services, their decision to renew our partnership means we'll continue to provide support services until 2023. We'll provide a Community Advice, Liaison and Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (CALMHS), for adults in Gloucestershire who have a mental health condition.
CALMHS aims to support individuals and their families to understand their condition and the services which are available to help them. It is designed to improve mental wellbeing and aid recovery, whilst giving people greater control over their own support.
In addition, we'll also now be providing support for adults and children who have been diagnosed with a condition on the autistic spectrum through the Community Advice and Support for Autism Service (CASA). The County Council have recognised that getting the right support soon after diagnosis helps individuals and their families better understand and manage the implications of living with autism.
Both of these services will provide information, advice and guidance as well as one-to-one and peer support. A key feature will be an enhanced digital offer to increase access.
