Have you been wanting to get into running? We've got a new group which is suitable for anyone wanting to get into running at a beginners level! 

We meet at 9:30am every Tuesday at Brintons Park, Kidderminster (by bandstand)

Did you know that running can improve your physical and mental health? Running can reduce stress, improve heart health, and even help reduce symptoms of depression.

Walking's fantastic, great for our fitness and Wellbeing too.

We're supporting a local walking group that'll take place every Monday morning at 1pm around Charford in Bromsgrove.

The walks are short and simple and all on nice pavements so no need for special footwear (very wheelchair friendly). The starting point for the walk is the Starlight Cafe (details below).

It would seem so, physically active people have up to a 30% reduced risk of becoming depressed, and staying active helps those who are depressed recover.

Physical activity needn't be anything too extreme either, with a simple walk proving to be just as good for things like;

  • Walks range from between 10 and 30 minutes
  • Meet with friends and make new ones as you walk together for a stroll or a more brisk walk if you're able.
