Partnership with Stroud Jobcentre Plus

We've launched a new partnership with Stroud Jobcentre Plus and the results are looking good, 11 referrals to our service in the last three weeks. But what's it all about?

Well, visits to Job Centres are focused around employment/benefit advice and services, they also present an ideal opportunity to discuss existing mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and Autism Spectrum Condition. Conditions that could be playing a part in finding employment more difficult.

The partnership is simple, when someone visits the Jobcentre and discusses their needs they can be referred for an appointment with an Independence Trust colleague. This colleague will introduce them to our services or signpost them onto partner agencies.
