Weavers Independence Project
Weavers Independence Project won Community Project of the Year 2019 at this year's Pride of the Cotswolds Awards (27/09/2019).
The organisation provides a safe space for adults with mental health issues to take part in productive and educational activities.
As a result of work being done by the group, the overgrown grounds at Weavers Croft have been transformed into beautiful gardens.
Sue Tomlinson, district co-ordinator of the trust, said:
“I was so pleased to see that our project had been nominated, to be able to shine a light on this unique slice of Gloucestershire will in itself highlight what is available for those needing a safe and tranquil space when experiencing mental ill health.”
